Warhammer 40K: Combat Patrol Baneblade

More of a moving fortress than just a vehicle, the Baneblade super-heavy tank boasts devastating firepower. Wherever it rolls into battle, it becomes the focal point of the frontline, with Imperial Guardsmen and smaller tanks taking cover behind it as its massive main cannon and numerous other weapons pound enemies into submission.

This huge multipart plastic kit assembles a super-heavy Baneblade, a thunderous war machine armed with a full arsenal and capable of withstanding damage that would destroy entire armies. If you want a centerpiece for a powerful armored column, the Baneblade is a perfect choice—it can overwhelm opponents with sheer firepower and soak up tremendous punishment, protecting the rest of your forces. Its armament includes a powerful baneblade cannon and co-axial autocannon on the turret, a demolisher cannon on the front hull, two lascannons on side turrets, twin heavy bolters on a front hull turret, two twin heavy flamers mounted in sponsons, and a heavy stubber on a pintle mount atop the turret. The sponson flamers can be swapped for two more twin heavy bolters, and extra sponsons with additional lascannons and either twin heavy bolters or flamers can be added. That’s an enormous amount of firepower.

You’ll also find plenty of customization options such as extra stowage, additional armor plating on the tracks, tow hooks, fuel tanks, and options for gunners and tank commanders in the hatches—including a choice of different heads. Alternatively, you can build the tank commander as a separate infantry figure, armed with a bolt pistol or laspistol in one hand, and a power sword or pointing hand in the other. Plus, you’ll have plenty of leftover parts for your bits box.

This massive kit can also be built as several other types of super-heavy tanks:

• Banesword: equipped with a quake cannon to destroy vehicles and fortifications at long range
• Shadowsword: armed with a devastating volcano cannon designed for tank-killing
• Doomhammer: outfitted with a magma cannon that slays titans and can carry troops
• Stormsword: equipped with a bunker-busting siege cannon
• Banehammer: armed with a tremor cannon to slow down advancing enemies
• Stormlord: fitted with a vulcan mega-bolter and a large troop transport capacity
• Hellhammer: built for close-quarters combat with a hellhammer cannon

The kit contains a staggering 381 plastic pieces and includes one Baneblade transfer sheet with 253 transfers.
