Things to consider before buying a PC system from Needy Shop:
Wi-Fi connection
PC systems always come with an ethernet port for internet connection. A system to be able to use Wi-Fi, then the motherboard must support it (refer to motherboard’s specifications). If motherboard does not support Wi-Fi, then you should add a Wi-Fi adapter that pretty much does the same thing.
FPS at games
Our website's filters can help you navigate through different FPS categories for different games and choose a PC that suits your needs.
The FPS rates are grouped to: "60-90 FPS", "90-144 FPS" and ">144 FPS". For example, if you wish to play Warzone 2 at 100FPS, you should go to the "90-144 FPS" filter and choose "Warzone 2" from the dropdown menu.
Then, you will be transferred to a page where all the PCs run Warzone 2 at 90-144 FPS.
All games have been tested at maximum graphics settings.
- PCs with graphics cards: GTX1650, GTX1660 Super, RTX2060, RTX2060 Super, RTX03050, RTX3060, RTX3060 Ti, RTX3070 are tested at FHD.
- PCs with graphics cards: RTX3070 Ti, RTX3080, RTX4060 Ti, RTX4070, RTX4070 Ti are tested at 2K.
- PCs with graphics cards: RTX4080 and RTX4090 are tested at 4K-8K.
The above are tested by Needy Shop experts and may vary in different conditions.
Vision-Monitor
If a PC system is capable to run a game, for example, at 144 fps, you will never be able to experience it if your monitor can not support it. It is important to check the Refresh Rate of your monitor and have realistic expectations. Check Needy's gaming monitors here.
Sound
PC systems do not come with build in sound system. It is important to check your monitor or sound system (speakers or headsets).
Space
Choose the correct case and components for your space. There are different size options for any kind of place that do not affect performance!
Once you bought a PC system from Needy Shop:
First time turning your PC system on
The first time you turn on your PC system is really important NOT to have anything on except your mouse and keyboard. Needy Shop recommends to use a surge protector to protect your PC from unwanted power surges or "spikes".
Graphics card and display cable
If your PC system has a dedicate/ discrete graphics card then the display cable should be connected to the graphics card. If it is integrated graphics, then the display cable should be connected to the motherboard.
Maintenance
We suggest to bring back your PC system to Needy Shop every two years for maintenance. If you previously bought a PC system from our store, then you are eligible for special prices.
Software
Needy's experts suggest to periodically check for windows updates. We are currently using Windows 10 in our PC systems since they are trustworthy, stable and will be supported by Microsoft until October 2025. However, you can upgrade your system to Windows 11 anytime from your PC settings (refer to motherboard’s specifications).
