Things to consider before buying a PC system from Needy Shop:
Wi-Fi connection
PC systems always come with an ethernet port for internet connection. A system to be able to use Wi-Fi, then the motherboard must support it (refer to motherboard’s specifications). If motherboard does not support Wi-Fi, then you should add a Wi-Fi adapter that pretty much does the same thing.
Bluetooth
Same goes for built-in Bluetooth. For a system to be able to use Bluetooth, the motherboard must support it (refer to the motherboard’s specifications). If the motherboard does not support Bluetooth, then you should add a Bluetooth adapter that pretty much does the same thing.
FPS at games
At the end of each PC description, you’ll find a Gaming Performance (Estimated FPS) table showing the expected gaming performance in several popular titles.
The table shows estimated FPS at three common gaming resolutions:
- 1080p (Full HD): Best for high-FPS gaming and competitive titles.
- 1440p (QHD): A great balance between image quality and performance.
- 4K (UHD): Higher image quality and detail, but requires more graphics power.For example, if a game shows 160+ FPS at 1440p, this means the PC is expected to deliver 160 frames per second or more under the conditions used for the estimate.
The above are tested by Needy Shop experts and may vary depending on game updates, graphics settings, drivers, Windows configuration, background applications, and features such as Ray Tracing, DLSS, or other upscaling technologies.
Vision-Monitor
If a PC system is capable to run a game, for example, at 144 fps, you will never be able to experience it if your monitor can not support it. It is important to check the Refresh Rate of your monitor and have realistic expectations. Check Needy's gaming monitors here.
Sound
PC systems do not come with build in sound system. It is important to check your monitor or sound system (speakers or headsets).
Space
Choose the correct case and components for your space. There are different size options for any kind of place that do not affect performance!
Once you bought a PC system from Needy Shop:
First time turning your PC system on
The first time you turn on your PC system is really important NOT to have anything on except your mouse and keyboard. Needy Shop recommends to use a surge protector to protect your PC from unwanted power surges or "spikes".
Graphics card and display cable
If your PC system has a dedicate/ discrete graphics card then the display cable should be connected to the graphics card. If it is integrated graphics, then the display cable should be connected to the motherboard.
Maintenance
We suggest to bring back your PC system to Needy Shop every two years for maintenance. If you previously bought a PC system from our store, then you are eligible for special prices.
Software
Needy's experts suggest to periodically check for windows updates. We are currently using Windows 11 in our PC systems since they are trustworthy and stable and are supported by Microsoft.
