Warhammer The Old World: Wood Elf Realms Battalion

The armies of the Wood Elf Realms emerge instinctively in times of danger. As threats arise, warriors from across the forests gather swiftly—citizens take up their longbows and spears to rally beneath the banners of their Glade Lords. Even the humblest fighter displays impressive agility and precision, making them formidable opponents on the battlefield.

This boxed set provides a strong foundation for a Wood Elf Realms force in Warhammer: The Old World. Elite cavalry units like the Wild Riders and Sisters of the Thorn lead the charge, supported by the fierce Wildwood Rangers and steadfast Eternal Guard. Meanwhile, the skilled Glade Guard, armed with deadly Asrai longbows, deliver ranged support.

The miniatures are highly customizable. The Wild Riders and Sisters of the Thorn can be built as a single 10-model unit or split into two squads of five, each with an optional champion, standard bearer, and musician. Wild Riders may also be equipped with optional shields and decorative pieces.

The Wildwood Rangers and Eternal Guard can likewise be built as one large 20-model unit or two units of 10. Their heads and weapons are interchangeable, and the Eternal Guard can each carry a shield if desired.

The Glade Guard can form a single 32-model unit or two groups of 16 archers. Customisation options include different weapon choices for the champion (Asrai longbow or sword), two styles of banner toppers, and interchangeable heads, torsos, legs, capes, and bows. They can also be used to represent Deepwood Scouts if preferred.

This set is an excellent way to begin a new Wood Elf Realms army or expand an existing one—while saving money compared to buying the kits separately.
