Warhammer 40K: Combat Patrol Astra Militarum

Leading their elite force into battle is a Cadian Command Squad made up of officers and the seasoned veterans who protect them. The backbone of the army consists of tough Kasrkin soldiers, equipped with a powerful array of weapons. Supporting them are the swift Attilan Rough Riders, highly mobile cavalry known for their devastating charges and ability to outmaneuver slower foes.

This box includes 25 plastic miniatures that form a complete Drayden’s Lance force for use in Warhammer 40,000 Combat Patrol games. It’s a great way to begin an Astra Militarum army or to expand an existing one.

Within the Cadian Command Squad, the Commander can be armed with a choice of laspistol, bolt pistol, or plasma pistol in one hand, paired with a chainsword, power sword, or power fist in the other. The Veterans each have unique roles: one is a field medic carrying a lasgun and medi-pack, another a vox operator with a laspistol and master vox system, one serves as a bodyguard armed with a laspistol plus your choice of melee weapon (chainsword, power sword, or power fist), and another carries the regimental standard alongside a lasgun. Both the bodyguard and standard bearer can instead be built as weapons specialists wielding flamers, grenade launchers, meltaguns, or plasma guns.

Kasrkin soldiers are elite troops armed with hot-shot lasguns powered by back-mounted packs. They can also be equipped with special weapons like grenade launchers, hot-shot volley guns, or meltaguns. The kit offers plenty of interchangeable heads and accessories to customize your squad, along with parts to build specialists such as camouflaged Sharpshooters, stimm-using Combat Medics, and explosive Demo-troopers.

Each Attilan Rough Rider carries a hunting lance that can be assembled with either a frag tip for infantry or a melta tip for tanks. Two Rough Riders can also be equipped with electrical goad lances. The kit includes components for two Rough Rider Sergeants, each featuring a choice of two plumed heads and an optional power saber, which can be posed either drawn or sheathed.

The kit includes 533 plastic parts, 15 Citadel 28.5mm round bases, 10 Citadel 60mm x 35.5mm oval bases, and 2 Astra Militarum transfer sheets with 597 high-quality waterslide decals for model customization.

These models require assembly and come unpainted—Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints are recommended.
